Left hse yesterday at 2.30pm to meet ai xia, hui min n vivian at jp bus interchange. We then took bus 30 to west coast and the bbq person kept on calling me to find out where i am -.- finally, he decided to jus leave our food at the pit n leave first. We had no choice but to walk faster to the pit.

Aft reaching the pit n checking the food, we decided to start the fire. Then we discovered we don't have any matchstick or lighter!! So vivian n hui min have to walk over to 7-11 which is 1 underpass plus 2 traffic light away from our pit. Then me n ai xia discovered we don't have garbage bag so. So called hui min n vivian to find out where they are. Lucky they jus reach 7-11 :) so ask them buy garbage bag hahas.

When they came back, we tried to start the fire but to no avail. The charcoal that the bbq company gave could nt be used -.- no matter how hard we tried, we still could nt start the fire. Then it started to rain-.- we only have one umbrella among the four of us.

Ai xia n i decided to jus go 7-11 buy another packet of charcoal aft failed attempts of starting the fire. We bought some tongs oso, since the bbq company only provided us with 2, which means that only one persn can bbq the food at one time :/

Finally at 7 plus, we managed to start the fire. By then, mei yi, jasmine, yoke ting and abigail had arrived. We started to bbq our food. Vivian had to leave at 7.15pm as she had to be home by 8.30pm :( we only started bbq the food so she only ate one plate of noodles n 3 sausages :(

After she left, we continued bbq-ing te rest of the food. The satay and  otah was DELICIOUS!!!!! :) The fire kept dying on us-.- so we had to keep on fanning the fire to prevent it from dying. Everyone took turns fanning until our arms ache :(

We are abt to pack up when ppl from pit 6 and 9 came to borrow our charcoal as their fire could not be started as well. We decided to let ppl from pit 6 n 9  use our pit as our charcoal is still hot. Then mei yi, yoke ting and jasmine went over to pit 9 to help them set up the fire. Then we started cleaning up the pit. We even washed the tables using the ice provided by the bbq company!!

Since it was already 10.45pm, me and abigail decided to cab home as we live near each other. We managed to hail a cab faster than hui min n ai xia even though we left later than them o.O. the taxi driver kept talking to us so he didn't have his full attention on the road. So we swerved here n there and i almost knock my head against the seat infront of me -.- After that, the driver stopped talking to us(thankfully) and i managed to reach home safely in one piece.(thank god)

I washed up and started reading a book 'Sunday at Tiffany's' It's a very interesting book, talking abt the relationship between Jane n her imaginary friend, Micheal. But i decided to slp after reading a few chapters as my eyelids had great difficulty staying open.

Overall, I had great fun at the bbq!! I wanna thank everyone who is at the bbq :) But i really hope that more ppl could join us yesterday night :(

Was watching police and thief on sat night when the last scene shows two children (acting as mark lee's daughter and son) hugging their maid like they would hug their own parents.

Me(in chinese): Wah, see, children nowadays closer to maid than their own mum.
Mum(in chinese): Ya lor. You also never hug me like that before.

I was shocked when i heard that. Is that really true? Now thinking back, i realised indeed, from young till now, i had never really hugged my mum. But i tried to defend myself.

Me(in chinese): Aiya, if i really hug you like that< you confirm will ask if i got fever or not.
Mum(in chinese): No, I would think that you kena possessed or shou dao hen da de da ji.

Yesterday went to church in the morning, was half conscious during sermon also, but at least i managed to finish reading half of a mystery storybook during sermon. After service went IMM to meet my aunt for a Pepperlunch treat. Saw aik peng working there but he didnt see me lols. Next, went walk walk at furniture store at #rd storey  then went Daiso. Had to leave halfway as i would be meeting hui min n vivian at jp. The new boon lay bus interchange was HUGE. Met huimin n her sis then went to Fairprice Xtra buy choc den went to meet vivian at food court. Saw joshua with her but he disappeared aft that. We then make our way to huimin hse wach alvin n the chipmunks 1 followed by Devil Beside You 1.Hui min kept saying mike very handsome(as usual). Then i left with vivian and bought dinner home.

As the title suggests, the bbq on 30th wont be cancelled haha. So c ya gals there :)

Went to attend church service this morning. The church was DAMN crowded that extra chairs have to be used to ensure that everyone has a place to sit. My mum woke me up at 6.30am when the service starts at 9am so that we would have a place to sit -.-  i was half conscious during the sermon but something the speaker said caught my ears. He said," Some of us here are christians for a long time, maybe even up to 40 or 50 years. But have you ever asked yourself, exactly how many years have you been bearing witness to the light? Can ppl around us see the light of Christ shining through us?'

This question struck me deeply, as I was born into a christian family, and had been attending church ever since I started walking. Now thinking back, i saw how easy it was for me to tell ppl that I am a christian, but find it hard to act out what I mean. Maybe I should do some reflection tonight.

I decided to cancel the bbq I planned on the 30th as very few ppl would b attending it. So very sry gals, especially those who would be going.

Woke up at 10 plus today, ate breakfast then started cleaning my aunt's house. First, my aunt and I clean up her room. At 3 plus have instant noodle as lunch. 4pm started cleaning kitchen until 7 plus then ate dinner. After that went home and bathe. Now damn tired due to climbing up and down the ladder during cleaning. Tomorrow going church for Christmas service so gonna slp early tonight. Bye ppl, will update soon :)
